Location and Instruction
IBC is held at the at the FAST Lab at Aiken Technical College, in Aiken SC. Instruction takes place in an excellent classroom environment and a first-class training lab in which a variety of fire alarm systems are installed and ready for inspection training. The program will include training on every aspect of conducting professional fire alarm and life safety inspections in today's commercial buildings.
Each class allows up to 20 students, and a PC and scanning PDA will be available for every student. Two roving instructors will provide technical assistance during class discussions. The lead instructor will utilize a video projection system during class, with students following along on their own PC and scanning PDA.
