LAB ENVIRONMENT
The FAST Lab consists of three sections; Fire Alarm, Sprinkler, and Special Hazards. The Fire Alarm lab features over 20 independent fire alarm control systems from a wide variety of manufacturers including EST, FCI, Gamewell, Notifier, Pyrotronics, Silent Knight, Simplex and many others.
Each system has an assortment of peripheral devices including smoke detectors, pull stations, duct detectors, heat detectors, beam detectors, and indicating appliances. The Sprinkler lab includes a fire pump, controller, and fully functional sprinkler systems, while the Special Hazards lab has a wide-range of suppression systems from Ansul, Fenwal, Fike, Kidde, and other leading manufacturers.
